Emma turns 2!

Ok this might be most up to date post yet considering Emma's true birthday was yesterday and I am already blogging about it!

My littlest gem turned 2 yesterday and what an exciting twist to the day we had! Our newest cousin was born yesterday as well! Logan Jarvis came into the world at 11:14 a.m. weighing 6lbs, 14 oz and was 20 inches long. He was a precious little guy and we got to see him in the hospital hours after his birth!

We topped off the day with presents, ice cream cake from Dairy Queen and the ICE AGE movie at the theater. This was a lower key birthday than most but with everything going on, this is how it turned out and I think the birthday girl was happy! She is only two... she has years ahead of her for bigger birthday celebrations!

Oh and one last thing... My medical stuff. I went to see my specialist on Tuesday night to get the results of my last round of MRI's and prayer truly works! The scans came clear enough that I don't have to make another trip to the doctor for 1 yr and my MS risk stays the same (20-40%) - Each year my scans are clear, my risk gets lower and lower - we aren't in the clear completely but at least we can rest easier and no medication is needed at this time! YEAH!

So yesterday's birth and birthday gave us a lot to celebrate and even more to be thankful for...

JONAS BROTHERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Remembering my own crushes on Michael Jackson and the New Kids on the Block, I couldn't help but indulge Anna in her love for the Jonas Brothers!

After two weeks of very good behavior, I found tickets to the Jonas Brothers concert for $12.00! Picking her up at daycare, I told her we were going to the concert that NIGHT! The excitement on her face and the energy she had was like something out of a movie! She ran around the yard SCREAMING and then topped it off with a big hug for mom and an enthusiastic THANK YOU MOM! It melted me right then and there... My little girl was growing up so fast right before my eyes and each day was slipping away and I can't stop it!!!

The night was awesome! The concert was really impressive too! I actually like the teeny bob rock sound they put out. Anna jumped around and screamed with all the other kids there! We made it thru the first two hours which included an opening act by Jordan Sparks. After we left the arena, we got an autographed CD! Yes a REAL AUTOGRAPH! Not sure who was more excited... Mom or Anna?!?

Well here are some photos of the BIG night!

Vaught Wedding

Man even though I have been absent from blogger world, doesn't mean my life hasn't been flying by!

Let's see... June was a month for celebrating my dear friend Jenn's wedding to her prince, Dustin. The wedding was beautiful! The day was perfect including being able to see my other two college roomies! The only think that would have made my time in Indiana more perfect would have been if my kids had gotten to meet all my friends' children... Oh well this will force us to arrange a get together SOON!

Overall, we had a wonderful time... and I got to feed my love for Chick Fil-A!

Here are some pictures from the festivities!
