Daddy's birthday weekend

Well we had a great weekend here in Minnesota. My parents drove up from Michigan to see Anna and celebrate Adam turning 29. For those of you who don't know, Adam is planning to run the Marine Corps Marathon next October for his 30th birthday. My oldest brother Eric started this 30th birthday tradition two years ago when he did the Phoenix marathon on his birthday. Adam is next in line to turn 30 (well Renee too) so he is gearing up for the big run. I don't think it has really sunk in yet that he is going to have run 26.2 miles! Then again, does that ever sink in with any one until they do it?

Well he and my dad went for a 6 mile run on Friday morning and he wasn't in too much pain the rest of the weekend so that is good. Saturday night Adam and I had a nice little date out to Manny's, a very popular steakhouse in Minneapolis. We go there about twice a year because it is so $$$. It is always a good time and the food is excellent.

Overall the weekend was a great one. Adam and I got to go over to Minnehaha Falls for a walk and it was so nice not having the little "muffin" in tow. It is so important for us to still have "our" time together.

Here are some new photos from the weekend. Hope everyone is doing well.
