Trusting God...

Lesson learned today... Trust God.

We bought a house today... we saw two properties yesterday and put in an offer on one and then found out this morning we didn't get it and I was devastated. It finally hit me that we were going to be without a house in 22 days... We put in the offer on the second house this morning - the ironic part of this story is that we really liked the second property better but the first one had more room so we tried for that first...The clock was finally starting to tick louder and louder in my brain. I had a melt down during lunch today and just cried and cried because I stopped believing something good would happen.

And then two hours later... Adam called to say that we got the house! Not only did we get the property we really wanted but we got it at a price we could afford!!! And on top of that TAXES ARE CHEAPER BY $400 a year compared to the first one we thought we wanted...

So all in all, God has come forward with a tried and true lesson for me once again... "Be still and know that I am God"...

So tonight as I lay down to sleep, I will thank God yet again for teaching me the valuable lessons of trust and patience... I do know that with each lesson, I grasp it a little bit more...

What a great God we have.
