Other news...Grandma Jan returned to MI today... she is in the air as I write. She had been here since Tuesday taking care of the girls as we were in our third and final week of no daycare. Having Grandma here just makes life so much easier but all good things come to an end and our family schedule will return to normal tomorrow, well sort of normal. Emma wemma has been having a rough couple of weeks, the girl cries every time she poops - Did I say cry, I meant screams... she has really started to come into her lungs. She has her four month check up this Friday so we will discuss the poop issue... I just hope all the plumbing is working properly. I can't imagine having to put her through tests or surgeries or something... I will let all know the outcome.

Anna is pretty well potty trained...at least on my terms anyway. She tells us when she has to go and she has only pooped in her diaper once in the last week all the other times have been on the potty! Hooray! I can't wait to count the savings of only having one child in diapers! She is returning to daycare tomorrow so I HOPE our daycare mom can stick to the routine of potty time we have created. We'll see...

Me- I went to WW last week and lost .4- not exactly the 1.2 I gained the week before but hey it is a step in the right direction. I am hoping this week reveals better results.

no promotion... my coworker called to tell me even though I won't be officially told until Monday. They hired someone externally and I am thankful for that because just 9 months ago I was that external candidate trying to get in the door at the American Cancer Society so I hope this new person loves the organization as much as I do.

Other news - potty progress... Anna is getting pretty darn good at pooping but has seemed to scale back on going pee. I don't know why that is... oh well. We went to Toys R Us today and Anna was allowed to pick out a toy - any toy - imagine my surprise when she picked a simple and small puzzle. I guess I shouldn't have been surprised - this girl LOVES the puzzles - maybe I should get her a Rubix Cube and she what she does with it...

I am now looking forward to a relaxing weekend at home. I am going to hit the gym this weekend because last Wednesday at my weigh in, I gained! 1.2 pounds... I wasn't too surprised I guess... all that Halloween candy at work got to me and the job stress... so now is time to crack down - I want to lose that 1.2 and another 1.6 by Wed. that's 2.8 and that's a lot for those of you that know that losing 1-2 pounds a week is ideal...i wanted to be down 40 pounds by Nov. 10 when Emma will be 4 months but it looks like I might be two weeks late on that goal... grrr... oh well i can't complain - I am making progress.
