oops... I am way behind...

Let's just say things have been busy and stressful the last two months... things are slowly returning to normal. Anna started preschool in September and absolutely LOVES it.... Did I mention she LOVES it? She thrives in the class and enjoys being the special helper who gets to pass out napkins or help with the calendar. So cute and so innocent. I hope her enthusiasm continues for years to come. That energy didn't come from me, that's for sure. I was never a big school kid, I like projects and activities but would prefer to avoid the periodic table of elements and geometry all together.

Emma is thriving as well and is totally potty trained now... what an accomplishment at 26 months old!! She really has taken to the process well and is pretty proud of her big girl undies. Lately though, she is getting us up in the night to go potty, I sure wish she was taller! She can't quite get up there on her own yet! My little shorty.

This weekend marks the fun filled holiday of Halloween. Anna is going to be Sleeping Beauty, complete with the blond wig and crown. Emma is going to be a puppy, a beagle to be precise. The costume is insanely adorable and was purchased at a boutique in St. Louis so I am sure it is one of a kind. I can't wait to take pics of the girls all dressed up.

I also started another blog dedicated to me and my life with MS. Sometimes I still can't believe this is real, any day I'll wake up and I won't have to give myself shots or worry about my vision or ability to walk... someday. The new blog is called Utterly Honest MS. I have heard from a lot of you that you have appreciated my honesty about my battle and from those comments stemmed the new blog title. Check it out at http://utterlyhonestms.blogspot.com

Here are some recent pics of the kids. We carved our pumpkin tonight - the first time ever since we've had a family - years past were just being plain old lazy... but now, as you can see from the photos below, the girls enjoyed the experience and that made the yucky cleaning of the pumpkin process all worth it.

Enjoy.
