Staying put...

Well we are off the market. It has taken such an emotional toll on us not to mention financial after going thru the motions of thinking we were moving and now not moving... So we are staying put. Accepting it hasn't been easy but all in all we think this is the best decision at this time.

So what else is new with us? Well we are embarking on our first road trip next week - yes i know... we have spoiled ourselves with flying and it has just gotten too expensive now that we have to buy three plane tickets! So the trip to the annual Blueberry Festival in South Haven, MI where my folks call home is going to be the longest 9 hours of my life in the car... You see my kids HATE the car - I knew everyone says - "oh they'll sleep in the car..." NOT MY TWO. They don't sleep in the car. But we are risking it anyway - hoping that we can lure them to sleep with portable dvd players and night travel... oh I pray this doesn't cause my hair to fall out!

Any suggestions on traveling from you road-trip mommies - send em my way...

Well here's some pics of the sweeties!!

Sorry to hear about the house...that's a bummer especially with the excitment of geting to go to a new place.
Sweet girls. I didn't realize Anna had such curly hair...I LOVE IT!
for the road trip, food is my trick. Lots of little sweet yummy snacks to aid in the distracting. Have fun, and traveling at night, but you alrady have that one covered.

Have fun on the road trip - I promise it will be like going back in time when you go back to Mississippi! Every time I go back home to AL it is like that! lol
Moving/buying houses/etc is so emotional. I pray that you all are doing well.

Oh boy, a road trip! I hope your DVDs and night travel do the trick! I think this is the hardest age to travel with because they are so active. Best of luck!
