I am so proud...

Ok everyone last year my coworker found out about this photographer who was hosting a photo shoot and I booked a session for Anna. It went perfectly and the photos were amazing! I recently booked our family photo session for Sept. 30 at a local park here and Olivia, the photographer, invited us to come down with Emma and have some newborn photos taken- well the session was last night - Emma was officially 7 days old and it went perfectly! I am in love with the photos! Please go check out her site and of course pics of my little Emma Rose~

The pictures are AWESOME! I am so jealous what a keepsake!

My comments on my blog were short lived. At that point she was just a week old and had a 9 hour night (at which point I freaked out and woke her up to feed her) and several 7 hours. But lately the average is 5-7 hours depending on how awake she was during the day. She is a chunk of a girl so she can put away the milk and take on reserves from her fat pouches:) My sister hoped for big babies she said they sleep and eat better. Ava is a whole pound plus more then Ty weighed. He was regular wake up every 3 hours regardless and eat..Ava usually goes 4-5 hour stretches during the day without eating. My theory is to not wake a a sleeping baby. She's growing and is healthy so no complaints. I did breastfeed for the first 4-5 days but realized I prefered the bottle. I've heard formula takes longer for babies to digest it so I'm sure that's adding to the longer sleep. So glad things are going well. Love ya!

Oh how beautiful! She has so much hair! It's great to capture her newborn days since they go by so fast.
